BNP deliver third leaflet

The BNP have delivered a third leaflet in the North Road by-election: two more than either Labour or the Conservatives. This one gives me a mention.

Apparently, "Mike Barker, the Lib Dem Councillor for North Road, said he is against BNP policies." What I actually said to the BNP guys who struck up a conversation with me when we were both out delivering last week was, "I think BNP policies are appalling." I know, a bit twee, but, together with "ludicrous", it's a word that tends to leap into my brain quite frequently when I'm describing one or other of the fringe candidates in this by-election!

Anyway, if you're going to quote me lads, get it right! Here's one for your next leaflet, "Mike Barker, Lib Dem Councillor for North Road ward, thinks the BNP is a racist organisation led by a bunch of thugs who should go back under whatever stone they crawled out from." You have my permission to quote me in full.

The full quote about me, if you can be interested in what this bunch have to say, is, "Mike Barker, the Lib Dem Councillor for North Road ward, says he is against BNP policies. This means that he is in favour of immigrants who have never paid a penny into our country getting benefits and houses, agrees that Europe should make 80% of Britain's taxes, is against firm action on crime and strict laws to deal with criminals and thinks that high taxation is worth paying".

Their leaflet also claims Rise Carr has "scores of immigrants from Africa and Asia"; it says the residents of North Road are "working in dead end jobs flipping burgers" because foreign imports have destroyed local industry, and it describes the Pupil Referral Unit as "a borstal". Worst of all, it describes the Lib Dems as "liberal" - oh no, sorry, you got that right, John.

Thank you for the laugh of the day, I will certainly quote you. I may however have to remind my readers who the Labour Party support group the Lib-Dems are. Ill just have to remind then that they are the Labour fringe party that normally rates lower in votes than the BNP.

I am happy to say its the only political leaflet that only has one use - to be used in the cat litter tray.

I am all for diversity and listening to all views, however I am embarrassed by the BNP, and the 'newsletter' website couldn't have the balls to just have a simple post about Remembrance day and the memory of those 90 years ago dying for what they believe in, our great diverse country.

You might find that the BNP have in fact delivered a 4th leaflet tonight and with a great big poppy on the heading and on the theme of remembrance which should please anon below. I wonder if anon has the disrespect to line his budgie cage with that one. Our latest propaganda leaves us 5 pieces of paper behind you but 2 ahead of Jenky and 3 over Mr Lee Vasey.

I notice Steve Jones is punting out his much awaited leaflet today which has been much tamed from what was in the original draft and left me a bit disappointed because it was going to put the cat amongst the pigeons big style.

BNP Volunteer would like to offer something for your next leaflet which you have full permission to include in full "The Lib Dems are shameless opportunists who will exploit any issue including race, as they did in Tower Hamlets in the 1990's or any other area as long as there are a few votes in it for them. One of their advisors in the North West has just been up in court for racially abusing an Asian Police officer and also throwing in a bit of homophobia for good measure.
Canterbury Lib Dem thug cllr Jo Calvert-Mindell has also recently been accused of a racially aggravated offence.
BNP Volunteer believes that there is a disproportionate amount of paedophiles in the Lib Dems such as former Stockport councillor Neil Derbyshire who was stopped by police with a bag which contained a change of underpants, lube, polyeurothane gloves amongst other delights.
Fraudsters and drink drivers also feature heavily amongst Lib Dem councillors. For a more comprehensive list visit http://liarsbuggersandthieves.blogspot.com/search/label/Lib%20Dem

BNP Volunteer says that the Lib Dems should creep back into the park toilet which they emerged from.

Why does it not surprise me that the BNP knew what was in the original draft of Steve Jones' leaflet?
Just as interesting is the pub talk that Labour Party members are helping to deliver this leaflet, in a last desperate attempt to take votes away from the Lib Dems.

Interesting point Mike.
Just as interesting as why New Labour have smeared every candidate in their 2nd leaflet today...............Apart from the BNP.
Are you suspecting the same motives as me why this is?

Re: The Jones leaflet.
I would be amazed at how that could be blanketed across the whole of 3000+ doors by just two 50 year olds in the space of time that it has been, especially as Steve is pre-occupied most of the day.
We have contacts in all parts of the ward who confirm how widely this leaflet went out in such a short space of time.
However if the leaflet has been circulated by just the Jones team in such a short space of time then I admire their determination and skills at lightening quick distribution. We could do with them in the BNP as I found it a bit of a slog and endurance test at times.

Also I think suspicions of New Labour assistance with the Jones leaflet may be just that. The leaflet is unsophisticated in appearance, lacks in substance and reads mainly as one big apology with a few pot shots at the Lib Dems included. It also carries atrocious grammar and spelling mistakes.
In addition I think the standing up for anti social types boozing on doorsteps while inflicting their "specialist" tastes in music at loud volumes on their suffering neighbours is more likely to give votes to the Lib Dems rather than usurp them.
Not in their wildest imaginations could any socially conscious person believe that such behaviour equates to community spirit.
I am quite skilled at weighing many things up and I would generalise by saying that most of the anti social elements criticised by you Mike wouldn't vote even if they had a pistol held to their head, whereas I would also be bold and say that the people who take the trouble to contact their councillor about problem behaviour are very likely to make the effort to walk to their local post-box or polling booth.

So if New Labour have been involved I think that they suspect that the threat to them is mainly from Steve Jones rather than AMC.

bnp volunteer - of course, we could put together a site defining the BNP's criminal convictions, but I don't think there's a computer server in the country which would be big enough to hold the data...

The list of Lib Dems on Liars, buggers and thieves website are or were high ranking Lib Dems holding elected positions.
Most of the excessively focused on BNP convictions are mainly ordinary members who get dealt with appropriately if it was recent and of a serious nature.
Most BNP convictions are for "laddish things" such as scrapping at football years ago, which although wrong is merely the way that most young men behave and then grow out of.
The Lib Dem convictions are of a very concerning nature.

Here's a challenge for you then anon.
See if you can find more BNP elected officials (and I will be generous and even allow you ordinary members as well) with criminal convictions than there are Lib Dems with criminal convictions mentioned on Liars, Buggers and Thieves.
Bet you can't!!!!
